I have two kids, one 6 years old and one 1 year old. I’m 5 months pregnant and am alone and bored everyday. What is a good hobby that I could do to brighten my days?

i would start following a sport, pick one and try to watch every game on tv and go online to their website and read about it.
I think scrapbooking might be perfect for you. You can organize and keep all the photos of your kids, it’s something your 6-year-old could help you do, it doesn’t have to take up a ton of room, other than scissor there isn’t really any equipment that can injure your children (although make sure your glues are non-toxic) and you’ll never run out of potential projects.
Knitting or crocheting could be other good crafts for you. They don’t need a lot of stuff, are portable crafts so you can pack them up and do them anywhere, you can keep an eye on your kids while working and will never have to worry about buying hats or gloves again.
Gardening is another good hobby for a mom. It’s very peaceful and good exercise. Plus, you save a bunch of money on groceries if you plant a vegetable plot. You don’t even need to bother with the hassle of canning. All you need are some freezer bags and a freezer to have home grown veggies all year round.
Bear with me, I know I sound like a 40 year old spinster. But knitting is actually alot of fun and inexpensive. I don’t know how ambitious you’re feeling, but even knitting a scarf is easy enough for anyone to pick up. Just run out to your local fabric store and grab a ball of yarn, some knitting stick and maybe a beginners book. Not mention, some of your creations can be used as gifts for your small fries
I would suggest crochet.
As I know from watching my wife, knitting leaves you head free to watch a scrambling kid or to read an audio book or watch movies which can be had from the library if rental is too costly.
But not suggested yet, if you are the artistic bent, it using fabric paints on plain items of clothing to dress your own and yourself and give as gifts to other mothers your age if you are part of that scene. And it might be something you could sell if you got proficient enough and liked doing it.
