Comment posted What do Filipino children collect nowadays? What are their hobbies? by marie.
I’m half filipino and I used to collect stickers in 2nd grade. Sometimes they would be animal stickers or even random things like fruits or cartoon characters. My cousins in the Philippines would collect action figures too.

taking photo’s and printing them. - Would like to start dancing as a hobby. Any advice/pointers?
You should go with the dance and the MUSIC that you are most comfortable with… Different people start out differently… although Salsa is fun, there are different levels of beginners… Some people pick-up the rhythm quickly but are not good with learning the moves and others are the opposite; they know the moves but their rhythm and timing is not so good… If you like Latin Dancing, Merengue is the easiest to begin and then later you could begin to take Salsa lessons… But from what you have written, I get the feeling that you are more comfortable with Indian or Middle Eastern and for YOU that may be the easier types of dances to learn. Once you know a couple of dances other dances are easier to learn. - Would like to start dancing as a hobby. Any advice/pointers?

They probably are collecting, txt mates, chat mates, IM friends, ringtone downloads, itunes mp3s, etc., just like any normal teenager elsewhere.
Hobbies? The web, electronic devices, sports, music, etc.
What did I collect when I was young? I was a pack rat then, so I collect everything, old coins, old bills, receipts, antiques, shiny objects, toys, knick-knacks, books, comics, etc.
HI babycakes, wow, we have the same hobbies (stamp collecting [digital] scrapbooking) anyway, I spent my childhood in the Phils. and I can remember, my sisters, my girl friends, and I collect paper dolls when we were like 6 years old. The boys would have jolens, rubber bands, and small card thingy with pics of comics heroes which are often confiscated by teachers during classes, lol. (*Brings me back to times (^_~)) I haven’t been back to the Philippines for a long time so I’m not sure what do kids in there collect nowadays.
Naruto (anime) stuff.
I see Naruto everywhere.
I collected anime stuff during my teen years. lol guilty. I don’t collect them anymore but I still like anime. I kept my collections in a box to preserve them. I’ll open them someday to reminisce. Now, I collect lighters, flashlights, earrings, and rings.
