I’ve tried writing, composing pieces on the piano and drawing/painting.
Writing doesn’t work to get the emotions out and I’m crap at composing music and I’m crap at drawing/painting.
Please could you suggest a creative hobby I could pursue to not only express my emotions, but also to keep me occupied?

This article was a superb read! I couldn’t have explained things better myself.
Since you’ve tried nearly every other art form, why not try dance?
Start out by cranking up some music and just moving your body. See if you like it.
Hmmm … im not sure if this is a creative hobby but have you tried any sports e.g boxing as im sure that could definitely get emotions out eg anger lol:p If not that how about a crafty thing.. hope this helped.
At the craft stores there are Felting Needles and the wool roving you need to make dry felting. It is a bit $$$ getting started, but so worth the effort if this is something you would like to try. I bought a starter kit at Hobby Lobby for $6 – a piece of printed felt, 2 felting needles, some roving and instructions.
You can also learn some other crafts this way. Just walk up and down the aisles of crafting supplies and look at all that is available.
As far as taking care of emotions – bread making by hand is excellent! You need to pound the c*** out of bread dough to get it to the condition it needs to be in to be really good. The kneading process will allow you some creative outlet for bad moods! Then you get to treat yourself with fresh goodies from the oven!
smoke a lot of super dank bud.
build with legos, they are lots of fun
I knit, crochet and …garden
A few years back, when i was looking for a good outlet for my emotions, I tried my hand at garage and gazebo demolitions.
One day i took out my garage with a saw and and sledgehammer. I needed to have it down because it was falling down on its own.
When i was done and had the debris hauled away, my neighbors asked me to take out theirs. Next thing i knew, I was up to ears in weekend work.
Made quite a bit of cash too.
To me, nothing vents emotions like a sledgehammer and some time.
The creative part came by making more space in peoples backyards.
I totally agree about bread making as an outlet for emotions. The more you knead dough to develop the gluten, the better is the bread/rolls/doughnuts or whatever you’re making. I have made a ton of bread while working off a lifetime of emotional moments.
The other thing I’ve done when I needed to work off emotions was pack up a couple of handguns and some paper targets (and the other stuff such as ammo and ear protection, of course) and go to the shooting range. It makes a lot of noise, it requires complete concentration to be anywhere near accurate, and there’s something satisfying about punching a bunch of holes in the center of a piece of paper. Plus, there’s usually somebody there who wants to chat about the weapons, the ammo, or the technique, and that chat tends to distract me from the cause of the emotions. The goal actually is to do something fun rather than being emotional. Anything active–hang gliding, rapids-shooting, motorcycle riding, skiing, water skiing, alligator wrestling–would probably have the same effect.
If you only want to reduce the amount of physical stuff your body holds when you’re angry, frustrated, etc., some form of exercise will dissipate that, even just a ten-minute walk.
If you want to express your *emotions and ideas,* etc., though, one good thing to do is work with polymer clay (you definitely don’t have to be an artist to do that!). And there are so many (entirely different) things that can be done with polymer clay that you’d never be bored, just from that angle.
First, you might want to check out the place at my site which discusses the exact kind of expression you’re talking about:
(…click on the category called *Emotional Issues, etc*)
And I think you’d get a lot from reading this page whether you get into polymer clay or not:
(…click on *Creativity Inspiration*)
If you do find you’re interested in polymer clay, then check out all the other pages at the site too which cover topics like how to handle the clay and what all is possible to do with it, etc., from the Table of Contents page: (scroll ALL the way down)

Why not try making punched tin crafts? You can save the tops and bottoms of your cans that you have emptied food out of course
All you need is the metal, a nail, a hammer, and something thick to work on.
You really don’t have to be very creative. Just start punching the nail through. I like to have a piece of wood to work on top of, so when my nail goes through it doesn’t hurt any thing.
If all else fails use the sledgehammer guys idea. lol
I get creative with my workouts. THere are so many ways to find those hard-to-get-to muscles. Plus it releases dopamine and adrenaline that helps give you the feeling of euphoria.
