What you need is a pen pal from somewhere far away from where you live so you can have some foreign stamps in your collection. as for empty stamp albums, you can make one out of a scrapbook and decorate it. start sending letters and asking friends for any stamps from anywhere, before you know it, you have a huge Collection.

I recently started back into Stamp collecting and when I joined the Yahoo Groups that existed, all of the posts seemed to be SPAM. (Click this link and see pictures of me *****.)
Anyone who cannot find **** on the internet without the help of these Email messages is in bad shape. The problem seems to be in finding meaningful discussions about the hobby of Stamp Collecting. That’s where I come in. I did find a few groups, but most of what I found was Blah! I created a few Email lists that would work for the areas of interest that I have – and am letting you all know about them in case you are frustrated as well.
Here are the lists that I will maintain. And by “maintain”, I mean, I will approve every member when they join, and I will delete them if the start sending messages about ***** pictures of themselves. The discussion itself will be fairly unmoderated, but it will be kept to stamps. Here are the Lists that I created:
US_BoB
This is a moderated Email list for the collector’s of US Back of the book Stamps – old and new, mint or used. I’d like to keep 95% of the discussions to Stamps, 95% of that discussion should be US Stamps, and of those – 95% should be about Back of the book US Stamps.
