You might try designing your own clothes from things you can find at a thrift store. Michelle Wie (the golfer) loves to do that. She loves fashion and makes clothes.

Try starting out by learning how to sew. if you already know how try making clothes. if you can knit, try making hats and scarves. you can buy materials at craft stores and make earrings, bracelets, neclaces, or anything you can think of. be creative =)
i am learning to sew , so i think you might like it to . try going to these sites and cut out and make then deviant art in the artisan craft section got to the clothes section. try thread banger to see if this is something you will like. if it is look at the tutorial section of these sites or look at books from the library like the readers digest guide to sewing or the photo guide to sewing. you could look at 101 thing to do with tee shirts. if this is not your line you could start a blog and photo paste pics of clothes you like to make outfits then list the stores and ask for comments. you could do a photo blog of street fashion in your area or school.
Start a book of designs. Just get a notebook, and when you feel itt–draw out the idea!
